Video Stars RoHS-screening Solution
November 15, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
WOBURN, Mass. Innov-X Systems released an online video demo focused on RoHS screening to help companies learn about handheld, X-ray fluorescence (XRF) RoHS-compliance screening solutions. The product demo features a handheld energy-dispersive XRF (EDXRF) analyzer, specialized RoHS software information, and details about the company's capabilities.
Portable, handheld EDXRF is a potential method for non-destructive materials-screening for RoHS compliance. Companies can use XRF analysis to verify certificates of conformity (CoCs) on incoming goods without transporting samples for laboratory analysis.
The video is part of an overall program for electronic component suppliers, OEMs, and contract manufacturers (CMs) to mitigate the impact of RoHS and prove due diligience, according to Innov-X.
