Post-wave Conveyors
December 31, 1969 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Featuring a static-dissipative, snap-link belt with full-surface ribs to increase cooling, the Hump-back conveyor system transports PCBs exiting a wave solder machine.
The 115-V AC motor-driven chain-belt conveyor features a variable incline section that matches the angle of the wave solder conveyor. After a gradual radial transition, the conveyor lowers to return the boards to the correct height. Other features include 3/8"-high vertical flights on 0.75" centers, variable speed, and a direct-drive brushless DC motor that synchronizes with the wave solder machine speed.
