Workstation Enables Post-AOI Sorting
October 23, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
KENOSHA, Wisc. PROMATION added a workstation to its family of post-AOI sorting and rework equipment. The ENC-700F aids in inspection and touch-up on failed boards post-AOI.
The meter-long table, with a 508-mm deep rear storage area, hosts overhead lights, adjustable part trays, an ESD-safe semicircular work surface, and Audit/Pass selection options. It receives pass/fail signals from the AOI machine in use, which trigger it to stop and lift all failed PCBs. This automated feature allows acceptable PCBs to continue on the line and alerts operators to boards requiring further attention.
