Hwang Lectures on Lead-free

LAS VEGAS SMT Editorial Advisory Board member Jennie Hwang, Ph.D., will share lead-free development knowledge and real-world production know-how in seven half-day tutorials to take place in Las Vegas, November 6 9.
Hwang, author of "Environment-friendly Electronics ? Lead-free Technology" and "Implementing Lead-free Electronics - A Manufacturing Guide," will provide information and answer questions on preparing for implementation, moving to production, reliability and manufacturing, materials and processes compatibility, the role of bismuth in lead-free, testing and assessing reliability, and rework. Hwang was elected to the National Academy of Engineering, inducted to the WIT International Hall of Fame, and named an R&D-Stars-to-Watch. During the 26-year SMT manufacturing establishment, she has helped improve SMT production yield and solved various reliability issues worldwide. She is a member of the U.S. Commerce Department's Export Council, and serves on the board of Fortune 500 NYSE companies and civic and university boards.
