EMS Provider Adds Test Machines

MONCHENGLADBACH, Germany Schlafhorst Electronics expanded its test field by adding a SPEA-made flying-probe tester, type 4040 Hi-line. Schlafhorst operates manufacturing sites in Mönchengladbach, Germany and Lubsko, Poland.
Because of short prep times and high fault coverage, flying-probe test (FPT) is a valuable tool for small- or medium-sized series, the company explained. Schlafhorst performs in-circuit testing (ICT), automated optical inspection (AOI), and functional and visual tests.
