Protean's Heimsch to Chair EMS Session

READING, U.K. The director and brand strategy specialist of Protean Marketing, Rich Heimsch, will participate as an industry expert at the 2006 European Supply Chain Convention (ESCC), October 4 5 in Cologne, Germany. Heimsch will chair the first EMS provider session, which involves contract manufacturing models. The session is an opportunity to explore the role of EMS and original design manufacture (ODM) business models in Europe, said Heimsch. In a roundtable discussion, Heimsch and other members of the European industry will share insights on market directions and industry roadmaps for manufacturing in Europe.
Heimsch, who has nearly 30 years experience in the electronics industry, described the convention as constructive a way to address key concerns and collaborate with other businesses in the industry. Presented by the European Institute of Printed Circuits, the 2006 ESCC serves delegates from OEM, EMS provider, assembly, and PCB-fabrication backgrounds.
