Partnership Generates Board Manufacture Interface
September 8, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
LAKE FOREST, CA and LAS VEGAS Direct Logix and PROMS, Inc., announced a technology partnership that led to the creation of a fully developed, bi-directional interface between applications from the information management and manufacturing solutions suppliers.
The companies combined auto-CAM automation and DFM analysis tools from Direct Logix with a software system from PROMS. The collaboration produced a link for web-based engineering and business processes.
The solution is a methodology for integration and automation from CAM through engineering and manufacture. Our aim is to shorten cycle-times and create cost-effective processes for board manufacturers, said Don Leduc, COO of PROMS.
