Eltek Awarded PCB Orders for Medical Equipment
September 5, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
PETACH-TIKVA, Israel Eltek Ltd. received two orders, valued at $1.2 million, for flex-rigid PCBs to be used in advanced medical equipment. The company will deliver the PCBs in Q'04 2006. Eltek has courted high-reliability PCB users in medical, aerospace, and military fields throughout 2006, stating U.S. and European market penetration as part of its corporate roadmap.
The company is expanding its access into high-reliability markets, as shown by this order, said Arieh Reichart, president and CEO of Eltek. He added that higher-margin revenue streams generated by high-reliability products have ongoing positive impacts on revenue mix and associated operating margins. Eltek specializes in complex, high-end PCB manufacturing, such as HDI, multi-layered, and flex-rigid boards.
