Universal Creates Software Product Team
August 16, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. Universal Instruments, as part of a realigned corporate roadmap, formed a product team dedicated to software products. Greg Benoit will assume the responsibilities of product manager for Universal software products. The company states that increased activity in their software products division led to the creation of a product team.
Benoit will work with customers and third party software providers to integrate a product development roadmap. A primary focus for the team will be the Dimensions Line Level range, as well as other Universal software products that support surface mount assembly line equipment.
After joining Universal in 1999, Benoit held a variety of information technology (IT) roles within the company. IT manager for Asia, Benoit's former position, will be supervised by Li Wei Ko, financial controller for the Asia region.
