Conveyor System Cools Post-reflow
August 8, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
SAN DIEGO Eunil H.A. Americas Inc. introduced the ECV-100 Coolveyor, a cooling conveyor system for post-reflow.
The system uses a cooling fan conveyor an insulated unit with cooling compressor that maintains an interior temperature of 5 10°C, with included fan and anti-static transparent viewing window. It is said to properly cool flash ICs and other sensitive components without damage. When subjected to high lead-free process temperatures, the system should efficiently reduce populated board temperatures. A cooling rate of 2°C/sec. is anticipated.
The Coolveyor provides room-temperature setting, the capability to accommodate PCBs from 50 × 50 to 250 × 330, insulated case structure unit, and conveyor speed control of 1 to 2 m/min. The system measures 800 × 1,000 × 1,500 and weighs 310 kg.
