Shelf-stable Adhesive Withstands Severe Conditions

HACKENSACK, N.J. — The Supreme 10HTFL one-component, flexible, epoxy resin-based adhesive/sealant from Master Bond features extended ambient temperature storage capabilities and an extended shelf life without refrigeration prior to use.
The material operates from -300°–300°F, and is said to cure quickly to a flexible thermoset polymer at 250°–300°F and higher. With reported resistance to thermal and mechanical shock and vibration, the Supreme 10HTFL can adhere to metallic and non-metallic substrates, withstanding exposure to severe environmental conditions. The electrically insulating material is said to adhere well to aluminum, steel, and other metals, as well as fiber-reinforced composites, plastics, ceramics, and glass. Tensile shear-strength of >2,000 psi and T-peels in excess of 60 pli makes it suitable for bonding with aluminum surfaces. Supreme 10HTFL is also said to resist water, salts, oils, fuels, and other organic solvents.
