ALAMEDA, Calif. — Technology Forecasters Inc. (TFI) appointed Bruce Rayner as head of research and consulting, succeeding Eric Miscoll, who will move to vice president of strategy for TFI client Texas Prototypes (TXP).
Bruce Rayner, former editorial director of Electronics Supply & Manufacturing Magazine and EBN, will work closely with Pam Gordon, TFI president and CEO, to enhance the firm's consulting services and Quarterly Forum community. Rayner brings with him 20 years of experience, heading print and online publications, as well as developing and managing conferences, Webcasts, and collaborative business partnerships.
Miscoll served as director of research and consulting for TFI for nine years, and developed the organization's Quarterly Forum for Outsourced Electronics Manufacturing and Supply Chain. The Quarterly Forum is a member-directed research and consultancy community for electronics manufacturers, OEMs, and suppliers. At TXP, he will help to build relationships with large, medium, small, and strategic start-up OEMs with new products to prototype, test, and refine.
