COMET Boosts X-ray Inspection Services Worldwide

GARBSEN, Germany — COMET is enhancing its X-ray inspection service capabilities to include full on-site service for high-volume inspection and real-time web interface from one of COMET's global test and inspection centers, targeting manufacturers and OEM customers.
Enhanced capabilities include:
2-D high-resolution X-ray inspection with oblique viewing at any angle High-volume 2-D X-ray inspection of more than 4,000 samples per day 3-D µCT X-ray inspection — full failure detectability based on 3-D volume models 3-D µCT web interface — real-time 3-D cross-sections via secure Internet connectionAll COMET inspection services use FEINFOCUS X-ray inspection systems and HDX-Ray imaging technology. Customers receive a detailed inspection report and corresponding X-ray imagery.
