X-ray Inspection
December 31, 1969 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
The X1550 enables X-ray inspection for boards up to 18 × 24" with automated motion control, measurement, and analysis, as well as advanced solid-state detector-based inspection for lead-free assembly. The system offers a choice of Image Intensifier and complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS)-based high-resolution detectors, and a 130-kV X-ray source with a continuously variable field of view (FOV) up to 1.8" with zoom.
A 1-2-GO interface setup program allows characterization of the entire process with one solution. Onscreen representation of boards is said to allow for maximum productivity and quality assurance based on instant, accurate information, reportedly minimizing bottlenecks and boosting throughput. An advanced image processor and a full library of measurement and analysis tools are standard. Proprietary New ElectroniX User Software (NEXUS) enhances, analyzes, and views real-time X-ray images.
