Ultra-small Switches Allow Several Mounting Options

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The SPDT switches, part of the ALCOSWITCH brand ultra-miniature microswitches from Tyco Electronics, offer life-cycle ratings up to 1 million cycles, and are available in two current ratings for power switching up to 3 A.
Available in straight or right-angle PC terminals, these PC-mount switches allow for multiple mounting options. They are available in 150- and 80-g actuation forces, and can be equipped with or without an actuation level — enabling operation in several positions. Target applications include security systems; medical devices; test, communication, and audio equipment; and industrial, commercial, and consumer electronic devices.
