IPC Issues APEX '07 Call for Participation

BANNOCKBURN, Ill. — IPC–Association Connecting Electronics Industries invites abstract submissions for the 2007 IPC Printed Circuits Expo, APEX, and the Designers Summit, slated for February 20–22, 2007, in Los Angeles. Topics of interest include design, materials, processes, and equipment for PCBs and electronics assembly, manufacturing, and test.

Interested participants must provide a 300-word abstract summarizing original and previously unpublished work on case histories, research, and discoveries. Papers should describe significant experiment results, emphasize new techniques, discuss industry trends, and contain technical and/or appropriate test results. Participants interested in organizing a technical session, panel discussion, or forum should submit a proposed topic, tentative paper titles, and speaker names. Forums require the recruitment of three to four speakers from differing companies. Individuals interested in teaching full- or half-day professional development courses are asked to submit a proposal.
