SMT/Thru-hole Receptacle Offering is RoHS-compliant

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The RoHS-compliant AMPMODU 0.100-centerline horizontal and vertical receptacles from Tyco Electronics mate with unshrouded and breakaway-style headers. Comprised of single- and double-row configurations, the portfolio meets most mother/daughterboard applications, including board-to-board applications for industrial and commercial electronics, aerospace, computers, communications, and other electronic devices.The horizontal versions include Mod II SMT and thru-hole products with closed-entry housings. Vertically configured products include the Mod II thru-hole version with top-entry; the Mod IV thru-hole version with dual-entry (top and bottom); and Mod IV dual-entry SMT receptacles.
Using a dual-cantilever beam-contact design, single-contact current rating reaches 3.0 A, and mating cycle life is rated up to 200 cycles. The receptacles feature housings molded from high-temperature 94-V-0 thermoplastic, and phosphor-bronze contacts.
