Midwest U.S. Independent Testing Lab Serves the Globe
March 6, 2006 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
VALLEY VIEW, Ohio — NSL Analytical is an ISO/IEC 17025- and Nadcap-certified Independent Commercial Testing Laboratory that provides materials testing to customers globally. Its Valley View, Ohio office houses its administrative offices, customer service, and elemental chemical analysis and composite materials testing laboratory, while its Independence, Ohio-based metallurgical lab dedicates itself to metallurgical evaluations and microscopy.
Its design processes include working with R&D engineers, NSL Analytical chemists, and metallurgists to provide the analytical services and methods necessary for specifying and selecting the right materials to meet cost, performance, and quality standard goals.
In pre-production, knowledge of materials and the problems associated with the analysis of certain materials enables NSL Analytical personnel to develop designed experimentation, method development, and testing to help certify that materials comply with specifications, decrease material returns, and avoid production delays.
Experience with various material types and characteristics help customers determine the root cause of material failures and process problems during production to reduce internal waste and scrap costs. Also, timely, accurate, and reliable failure analysis helps customers reduce defects and minimize product returns.
For RoHS compliance needs, testing for cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chrome (Cr+6), mercury (Hg), lead (Pb), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated diphenylethers (PBDE), as well as one-on-one consulting with NSL Analytical's own RoHS experts, is available.
