Arrow Electronics Names President for North America, Asia-Pacific Components

MELVILLE, N.Y. — Arrow Electronics, Inc. has named Michael J. Long as president of North America and Asia-Pacific Components; a promotion from his previous position as president of the company's North American businesses. The presidents of both the company's North American and Asia-Pacific components businesses will report to Long, who has 25 years of experience in electronic components and computer products distribution.
The company's president of Arrow Asia-Pacific, Harriet Green, has resigned to join Premier Farnell plc as CEO. "Harriet has played an important role in Arrow's success during her 12 years with Arrow," says William E. Mitchell, Arrow's president and CEO. "We wish her continued success in all that she does in the future."
