Systems Focus on PCB/BGA Inspection
January 23, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
RANDOLPH, N.J. — Two compact X-ray systems from Glenbrook Technologies, the RTX series for production monitoring and Jewel Box series for process development and failure analysis, are said to reduce manufacturing costs.
The RTX series offers reliable in-process inspection at high volumes for PCBs with advanced components, such as BGAs, µBGAs, and flip chips. Its compact size and wheels make it easy to move and position in tight spaces.
The JewelBox series supports advanced research, process development, and failure analysis in the lab — offering high magnification with continuous zoom from 7–2,000×. Microfocus X-ray tubes enable ultra-high resolution and detail, while a five-axis positioner allows X-ray imaging from all angles.
Both systems feature the company's patented X-ray camera technology for high resolution and sensitivity.
