Planar Heaters Suit Multiple Applications

GLENROTHES, Scotland — TT electronics BI Technologies SMT Division's planar heater products with ratings up to 50 W are suitable for military, computing, telecom, medical and commercial applications in surface mount, thru-hole and custom-profiled versions.
Thermal measurement components may be placed directly onto the substrate-heating element to provide an accurate interface to the control electronics to deliver precise temperature profiling. Printed on ceramic substrates, the heaters' resistance ranges from 0.1 Ω to 100 KΩ, with tolerances to ±1%, TCRs to ±100 ppm/°C and a -55° to 155°C operating temperature range. Maximum operating voltage is 250 V.
