Celestica Acquires Flat-panel Display Repair Company

TORONTO — Celestica has acquired Displaytronix, a flat-panel display repair services company, enabling Celestica to expand its service offerings in the growing flat-panel display market.
Displaytronix provides repair services for high-value, flat-panel display devices such as notebook PCs, flat-panel monitors, high-definition TVs and other consumer devices. The company works has qualification certifications with with OEMs and ODMs.
"With Displaytronix's industry expertise and technical capability in flat-panel repair, Celestica will be able to provide full-functional repair services for LCDs and plasma flat panels, as well as complete support for both notebooks and handheld devices," commented Bert Pendergast, vice president of after-market services for Celestica.
