Gary Shi was promoted to technical manager of research and development of Liquid Epoxy products at the electronics group of Henkel, reporting directly to Henkel’s global director of research, Development and Engineering for Semiconductor Materials, Larry Crane.
Clinton, N.Y.-based Indium Corporation enhanced its customer service resources in Malaysia, India and the Philippines with the promotion of Sehar Samiappan to senior technical engineer, and David Vatharudge to area sales manager.
Bob Banning, advanced technology and training manager of Libra Industries (Mentor, Ohio) was certified as an IPC Trainer (CIT) in the IPC-A-610 Training and Certification Program, allowing him to issue certificates of competency to others upon completion of a course.
Sunnyvale, Calif.-based M-Systems and Digi-Key Corporation (Three River Falls, Minn.) have signed a global distribution agreement, in which M-Systems’ embedded flash disk products will be featured in Digi-Key’s printed and online catalog, and will be available for purchase directly from Digi-Key.
Austin American Technology (Austin, Texas) has promoted Shean R. Dalton from general manager to president. Dalton has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University, and is a member of IMAPs and the SMTA.
