Micro Contacts Suit Rugged Interface Applications

NEW ALBANY, Ind. — Samtec's Tiger Eye contacts are multi-finger, precision stamped and formed, beryllium-copper contacts that are heat-treated to optimize spring properties for maximum cycles in high-reliability applications. Available in 1.27- and 2-mm pitch connector sets, the contacts have been tested at up to 10,000 cycles with optional palladium-nickel plating.
Connector families include SFM/TFM Series polarized and shrouded systems; SFML/TFML Series friction lock systems; SFMH/FSH Series right-angle systems; and ROLC/FOLC Series four-row systems. All can be specified with either surface mount or thru-hole terminations with various lead counts and as many as 200 I/Os.
