Stencil-free Jet Printer Reduces Production Errors
October 3, 2005 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
STOCKHOLM, Sweden — MYDATA automation AB's MY500 stencil-free jet printer uses Jet Printing Technology to shoot volumes of solder paste at 500 dots/s, or 1.8 million dots/h. Because the MY500 does not require stencils, operators can change the print program in seconds and control the volume of solder paste deposits for each pad. Benefits include no more stencil production costs and hazardous solvents; instant control over paste volumes on pads; flexible programming possibilities; reduction of errors associated with screen printers; and lower solder paste consumption.
