Conformal Coating Workshops Head to Canada

CARLSBAD, Calif. — Asymtek, Dow Corning, Dymax, EMI and Humiseal collectively will offer conformal coating workshops in Montreal and Toronto, Canada on October 11 and 13, 2005, respectively. Each one-day training program will teach attendees about the various types of available coatings, including silicone, acrylics, urethanes, UV-curable coatings and adhesives. The most recent automated equipment options for mask-free conformal coating will also be covered. Speakers from both material and equipment perspectives will review the best practices for coating, including how to select, cure and apply. Attendees are encouraged to bring sample parts of current and future applications. There is no charge for the events, but a reservation is required by October 1, 2005.
