TURI To Host Lead-free Implementation Workshop

LOWELL, Mass. — To help companies better prepare for the July 1 RoHS deadline, the Massachusetts Toxics Use Reduction Institute (TURI) will host "Implementing Lead-free Electronics," on May 26, 2005, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at General Dynamics in Taunton, Mass.
The workshop will provide updates on logistical and technical information on transitioning to lead-free in the PWBA sector. Speakers will share first-hand experiences, identify challenges and opportunities of moving to lead-free and offer recommendations for implanting a lead-free program. Topics and speakers include:
