Platform Software Applies Various Test Strategies
April 1, 2005 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
STRAMBINO, Italy — The VIVA integrated platform, which is based on software and hardware architecture that can implement multiple test strategies throughout the entire development chain, has been implemented into the PILOT flying prober, and is now available from Seica S.p.A. Platform software organizes test program development into "prepare, verify and test" processes that guides users through a series of automated operations. Benefits include seamless migration between different test strategies used throughout the product's life cycle and incremental test generation. Existing programs can be deployed on a new platform, or new features can be added to enhance fault coverage on a system.
