Aegis to Unveil New Test Software at APEX
February 16, 2005 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
PHILADELPHIA — Aegis Industrial Software will introduce the latest addition to their NPI software suite at APEX/Printed Circuits Expo/Designers Summit, to be held February 22-24, in Anaheim, Calif., at booth #659. TestXcell, Aegis' comprehensive circuit-assembly test solution, provides ATE programming, DFT analysis, fixture design output and schematic viewing.
With TestXcell, manufacturing and test engineers can manage the entire test process, from intelligent graphical-design data input through net-adaptability checking, component-testability checking and full mechanical fixture design, to the generation of tester input lists and circuit-description files.
TestXcell provides design data importing, such as CAD, EDA and BOM files, with the ability to import, edit and merge. Design for testability is possible by identifying problems with instant feedback for immediate correction. ATE programming can be expedited for all test platforms. Additional features include fixture design output that supports all major industry formats, as well as user designs; a pre-populated component database with 36,000 electrical models and 1,000 package models; and complete in-depth reports with associated analysis and costing data.
