Kester to Host Lead-free RoHS Assembly Clinic at APEX

DES PLAINES, Ill. — Kester announces that it will hold its lead-free RoHS assembly clinic throughout APEX/IPC Printed Circuits Expo/Designers Summit, to be held February 22-24, in Anaheim, Calif., with the goal of assisting industry companies to transition reliably to lead-free and RoHS compliancy.
Throughout APEX, Kester will feature five clinics, each scheduled to last one hour. The schedule is as follows:
*Tuesday, February 22: 11:00 a.m. to noon and 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
*Wednesday, February 23: 11:00 a.m. to noon and 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
*Thursday, February 24: 11:00 a.m. to noon
A presentation on achieving lead-free RoHS assembly will be shown, followed by an opened forum where attendees can ask questions pertinent to lead-free soldering technology, as well as RoHS issues such as board and component questions. The lead-free RoHS clinic will provide customers an opportunity to receive answers and immediate assistance on most topics related to lead-free RoHS. All attendees will receive a CD containing valuable information such as lead-free tech tips and technical papers to help with the transition to lead-free.
