KIC Appoints New National U.S. Sales Manager
February 10, 2005 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
SAN DIEGO — KIC announces that it has hired Gregory Fall to be the new National Sales Manager for the United States. In his new role, he will be responsible for the thermal-management and process-control portion of the electronics assembly and packaging processes.
Fall has been in the electronics-assembly industry for more than 20 years, and has experience with insertion, placement, wave solder, cleaning, and reflow equipment, as well as a background in electronic and electromechanical components. He is also in charge of KIC's Partner Program, working with manufacturers of equipment and materials for board and package assembly in the thermal process development, monitoring and control arenas.
Fall comes to KIC from Pengo Corp., a division of Attachment Technology Inc. In his former capacity, he was a product manager of Custom Conveyor Screws and Flighting. Pengo is a manufacturer of earth augers, and acquired Crown Auger Manufacturing Inc. (CAM). He was instrumental in connecting Pengo with CAM, leading to the acquisition, and Pengo retained Fall to continue with the market development of the custom auger and flighting work that he began under CAM.
Prior to Pengo, Fall was with Research International Division of Research Inc., where he was the worldwide SMT sales manager. In that role, he was responsible for the management and support of a team of regional sales managers, manufacturers representatives and international distributors, including a direct sales and service office in Guadalajara, Mexico. Research International sells and services a line of surface mount reflow ovens, solder reflow ovens and curing ovens.
