Laser Marking System Meets Demands for PCB Marking

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Nortek Automation's SOL850 laser marking system lases a compact, machine-readable code directly on the circuit board, eliminating the recurring consumables cost of labels and ink solutions.
Features include a maintenance-free, long-life, sealed laser; automatic conveyor width adjustment; multiple marks per panel or board; and mark verification. Marks program for automatic serialization, date and batch codes, alphanumeric, graphics, 2-D, and barcodes. Featuring a small machine footprint for de-stacking, marking and re-stacking circuit boards, the system is SMEMA-compatible for in-line operation. Options include an X-out reader, network interface, productivity data logging and more.
