MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — KJ Series surface-mount DIP switch offers from two to 12 positions with gull-wing termination, and is now available from CIT Relay & Switch. The switch also offers an optional top tape seal, and a choice between an extended or a recessed actuator.
Electrical rating is 25 mA at 24 VDC for the switch, and 100 mA at 24 VDC for the carry with the electrical life is typically 2,000 cycles. Contact resistance is <25 mΩ initially with dielectric strength of 500 V rms minimum, and also offers actuation force of 600 gf maximum and actuator travel of 0.90 mm. Gold-over-nickel-plated beryllium copper contacts and gold-over-nickel-plated brass terminals at the contact area and tin plated at the terminal make the switch ideal for use in several applications.
