Parvus and Eurotech SpA Sponsor PC/104 Design Contest

Salt Lake City, Utah & Amaro, Udine, Italy—Parvus Corporation and Eurotech SpA now sponsor the PC/104 Design Contest hosted by the PC/104 Embedded Consortium. Customers of both companies are encouraged to submit their entries for the contest to the Consortium by December 10, 2004.
Now in its third year, the PC/104 Embedded Design Contest recognizes companies for their innovative use of PC/104, PC/104-Plus, PCI-104 and EBX computer technologies. Winners in three categories will be flown to the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) in San Francisco, Calif. in March 2005 to attend an awards ceremony in their honor. Winning projects will be showcased at the Conference and presented to members of the press. Entries will be judged in three categories:
1. Commercial for Industrial/Medical/Transportation/Other
2. Commercial for Military/Aerospace/COTS
3. Research Project
Two short essays must be submitted for each entry describing what the product does, how it is innovative, how unique design challenges were solved and which PC/104 specifications were most critical in solving the problem. Entry requirements must be received by December 10, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. PT to be eligible.
