Munich, Germany—Valor Computerized Systems announces that it has released version 7.3 of its Trilogy 5000 solution for PCB process preparation and assembly programming operations, and its Enterprise 3000 premium DFM solution for virtual manufacturability and physical design verification of CAD data. Version 7.3 is now shipping and available through Valor sales offices and integration partners worldwide.
Enhancements to the Trilogy 5000 Assembly Engineering platform include various multiple feature extensions to the Line Balancing, Documentation Editor and Machine Shapes Manager (MSM) modules. In addition, the following Siemens SMT machines, S20, S23, S25, HS50, F4 and F5, have been added to the range of supported machine models for a broader solution of vendor-independent, assembly-line programming and optimization.
Within the Design group environment, version 7.3 of Enterprise 3000 offers tighter integration to the Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics Boardstation and Zuken Board Designer PCB CAD systems. Other extensions to the I/O interfaces include Valor's new ICT output format. Finally, rounding out this version release are improvements to BOM and AVL handling, parts library management and DFM with emphasis on Signal Quality Analysis.
Julian Coates, executive VP for product management and marketing at Valor, says, "With Version 7.3, the worldwide top-tier of electronics OEMs and manufacturers can further leverage their existing investments in Valor solutions, secure in the knowledge that additional layers of value are already under development for follow-on versions of the solutions."
