November 5, 2004 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
San Jose, Calif.—DEK has appointed Steve Hunter to the position of Americas Operations Manager for Process Support Products, supporting the company's logistics infrastructure and manufacturing operations for DEK's stencil, tooling and consumables products.
"Hunter's past experience and overall knowledge of global logistics, inventory control and operations is exceptional," says Neil MacRaild, Americas GM for DEK Process Support Products. "Our growing business requires someone of Hunter's expertise, and we are very pleased that he is now part of the DEK team."
Hunter has over 15 years of logistics experience and has spent the last few years of his career as the global supply chain manager for a major medical device company. In his most recent position, he was responsible for the coordination of global inventory activities, development and implementation of supply-chain-related ISO training procedures, and the creation of several repair and refurbishment programs that resulted in substantial cost savings. In his new role, he will be based in DEK's San Jose, Calif. office and will report to Neil MacRaild.
