Cadence Sponsors Renovation of EDA Laboratory at Czech Technical University in Prague

San Jose, Calif. and Prague, Czech Republic — Cadence Design Systems Inc. has completed major renovations of the electronic design automation laboratory at Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic, as part of the company's extensive University Partner Program.
Guillaume d'Eyssautier, Cadence senior vice president and general manager EMEA, will join top business and education leaders and the press in Prague today in the lab dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony.
With the support of the Ministry of Education, the laboratory has been renovated to develop engineering talent in advanced electronic design for the Czech electronics industry. In addition to financial support for construction, the Cadence contribution provides an enriched design environment in the lab with a broad array of industry-standard software.
The laboratory will help hundreds of students learn how to design today's complex chips with advanced design tools. The Czech Technical University is the largest research institution in the Czech Republic and graduates more than 3,500 engineering students each year.
Universities worldwide access Cadence technology and support for educational purposes through the Cadence University Partner Program, including extensive curriculum reuse options for assisting professors in developing new electronic engineering graduates.
