IPC Printed Circuits Expo, APEX and Designers Summit Strong in 2005

Northbrook, Ill. — Despite recent high-profile technology event cancellations, IPC — Association Connecting Electronics Industries reports that its February tradeshows will take place as scheduled with enhanced technical offerings.IPC reports that the event is 85 percent sold out, with renewals strong. The organization expect to see a show floor that is five percent larger in 2005 than in 2004. Potential buyers will be able to see the full gamut of equipment, since all electronics assembly and processing equipment manufacturers are contracted for the shows.This year's trade shows, taking place February 22 through 24, 2005, in Anaheim, Calif. will feature an enhanced technical conference with the co-location of Electronic Circuit World Convention, a worldwide event founded in 1976, sponsored by all eight international trade associations in the World Electronic Circuit Council. This conference will include 115 competitively selected papers in 40 sessions, plus 40 technical posters.
