KEMET Names Lessner Vice President, Tantalum Technology and Technical Marketing

Greenville, S.C. — KEMET Corp. announced today that Philip Lessner, Ph.D. has been named vice president, tantalum technology and technical marketing, reporting directly to KEMET President and COO James McClintock.
In this position, he will be responsible for product direction for all KEMET products as well as new product and process execution within the Tantalum Business Unit. Lessner has been with KEMET for more than eight years and has previously held organizational leadership roles in the company, most recently serving as director of technical marketing services. he has a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Cooper Union and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering with a focus in electrochemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
