March Plasma Systems Celebrates 20th Anniversary
August 5, 2004 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Concord, Calif. — March Plasma Systems announces its 20th anniversary of providing gas plasma treatment equipment to customers worldwide.
Founded in 1984, their mission is to continuously expand its product offerings to provide innovative, quality solutions for the semiconductor, PCB, medical and webbed material industries.
In 1999, March was acquired by Nordson Corp. In December 2002, Advanced Plasma Systems (APS), another Nordson subsidiary, merged with March. APS is a leader in gas plasma, specializing in the manufacture of plasma treatment systems used in the fabrication of PCB and medical products. With this merge, March now offers a complete range of plasma systems that address all markets.
New packaging technologies, such as stacked die, QFN, SIP and flip chip demand contaminant-free active surfaces prior to die attach, wire bonding, encapsulation and other processes.
March Plasma Systems is the leader in gas plasma technology for the semiconductor packaging, PCB, medical and webbed material industries, and has support centers in California, Florida, Singapore, Europe and Japan. For more information, visit www.marchplasma.com.
