Honeywell Appoints Gibson as Director of IT for its Global Materials Business

Sunnyvale, Calif. — Honeywell announces that Theo Gibson has joined its Electronic Materials business as director of information technology.
Prior to joining Honeywell, Gibson was with The Coca-Cola Company where he served in the supply chain organization. He also spent several years as a process improvement engineer at AMP Inc. Most recently, Gibson served as IT manager, digital works and growth for Honeywell transportation systems and was responsible for programs including co-sourcing and SEI/CMM (Software Engineering Institute/Capability Maturity Model) level 3. Since joining Honeywell five years ago, Gibson has held roles of increasing responsibility in the aerospace and transportation systems business segments. In this new role, Gibson will be responsible for the effective operation of IT systems, new technologies and their applications for Honeywell Electronic Materials.Gibson earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from West Virginia University and an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology.
