Detroit and Garden Grove, Calif. — DPAC Technologies has received the "Best of Show" product award at Sensors Expo for the Airborne wireless LAN node module.
At an awards ceremony held at Cobo Center in Detroit, DPAC Technologies was honored to be among the nominees from several internationally recognized companies with very innovative products.
Cubic Systems Inc. also joined DPAC at the Sensors Expo to interactively demonstrate the SenseNet product — a wireless universal vehicle interface node that applies the wireless 802.11b technology provided by the Airborne module.
Additionally at the show, DPAC had the privilege of demonstrating a wireless medical pulse oximeter developed by Cal-IT2, a research and development arm of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), funded by UCSD and the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in partnership with the National Science Foundation. Dolphin Medical Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of OSI Systems Inc. contributed to the project.
