Tyco Electronics Offers Q-Series Customers Windows XP Upgrade

Willow Grove, Pa. — Tyco Electronics, a business segment of Tyco International Ltd. is offering Q-Series and APS-1H customers the ability to upgrade their machines to the Windows XP operating system.
In addition to the ease of use and the fact that Windows XP is a more dependable operating system, further customer benefits include advanced security, increased application compatibility and Windows file protection.
This upgrade will be available on June 1. Pricing will be determined by customers needs. The availability date depends on the user's current system configuration, and a CPU, hard drive or memory upgrade may be required.
