MVP to Display Latest AOI Systems at NEPCON UK
May 20, 2004 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Carlsbad, Calif. — Machine Vision Products Inc. (MVP) will display its new GEM Series Compact automated optical inspection (AOI) system at NEPCON UK.
MVP will be demonstrating its products in Exhibit H412 in Brighton, May 26 and 27, 2004, in cooperation with GM Distribution Ltd.
The Compact system is modeled after the AutoInspector 1820 series, allowing similar advanced capabilities in a tabletop platform, and reportedly has a 50 percent smaller footprint than comparable systems. With full solder joint inspection and measurement capabilities similar to MVP's existing inline systems, it offers an optimized price-to-performance ratio.
The GEM Series comes standard with one large-format digital camera and a high precision X/Y stage. The one-camera system allows for a configurable field of view depending on the application.
Machine Vision Products Inc.'s mission is to provide innovative products that help electronics manufacturers achieve higher yields, lower production costs, improve quality and speed time-to-market. For more information, visit www.machinevisionproducts.com.
