Tecnomatix Demonstrates How to Speed Up Manufacturing Process Ramp Up at Germany's Hannover Fair
April 19, 2004 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Herzlia, Israel — Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd. will demonstrate the features and benefits of its eMPower, Xfactory and FactoryLink product lines at Germany's Hannover Fair from April 19 through 24.
Hannover Fair attendees are invited to stop by booth B03 in Exhibit Hall 16 to learn how Tecnomatix has helped hundreds of companies in dozens of manufacturing and process engineering industries improve their production process planning and performance.
Its 2003 acquisition of USDATA and the Xfactory and FactoryLink products allows Tecnomatix to provide support for more manufacturing functions and industries, and this new reach, along with Tecnomatix's vision for the digital factory, will be highlighted at the show. The shop floor capabilities addressed by FactoryLink and Xfactory complement eMPower's offerings in process design and manufacturing planning. FactoryLink and Xfactory have a strong presence, not only in discrete manufacturing and electronics, but also in industries including energy, public utilities and transportation, to name a few.
Digital Factory 2004, Hannover Fair's showcase for integrated processes and IT solutions, is the ideal venue for Tecnomatix to present its comprehensive offerings that span the entire manufacturing process, from process planning to execution.
In addition to the booth in the Digital Factory showcase, Tecnomatix will also be represented in the Factory Automation showcase, where Tecnomatix is participating in Volkswagen's "Automation Live" exhibit of how the digital factory has been realized. In the car body assembly portion of the Volkswagen exhibit, Tecnomatix and Siemens are demonstrating their jointly developed product, eM-PLC, and how it was used to automate cockpit assembly for the Volkswagen Golf. And in the car body manufacturing portion of the "Automation Live" exhibit, Tecnomatix and KUKA Schweissanlagen GmbH, a leading automotive line builder, are demonstrating eM-Workplace solutions for robotics production planning.
Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd. provides the world's leading Manufacturing Process Management (MPM) solutions for the automotive, electronics, aerospace and other manufacturing and processing industries. For more information, visit www.tecnomatix.com.
