Elcoteq to Manufacture Digital Connection Devices for Schmid Telecom

Espoo, Finland and Switzerland — Elcoteq Network Corp. and Schmid Telecom have signed a cooperation agreement under which Elcoteq will start manufacturing high-speed connection devices in the Watson 5 product family (G.SHDSL platform: E1, Nx64 and Ethernet) for Schmid Telecom.
Production is due to start at Elcoteq's plant in St. Petersburg, Russia, during the second quarter of 2004.
