BTU Appoints Nash Vice President of Marketing

North Billerica, Mass. — BTU International Inc. has appointed Tom Nash as vice president of marketing. Nash, an experienced, strategic marketing executive, joins the company as a member of the senior management team, reporting directly to Mark R. Rosenzweig, president and CEO of BTU International. In this position, Nash will oversee all facets of corporate marketing, working closely with the executive team on corporate strategy as BTU continues to expand its product and customer base.
Nash previously has held positions in general management, executive sales and marketing management, as well as product development, during his career at the Black & Decker Corp., Vitronics Corp. and most recently as president of CIMCIS Ltd. He has established a strong track record of building and managing global, technology-driven teams. BTU's priorities will include leveraging the company's technologies and worldwide sales and service organizations to expand its global market leadership positions in SMT reflow, microelectronics, advanced ceramics and semiconductor packaging. The company will drive to outpace market growth through its customer partnerships and participation in the SECAP consortium of equipment suppliers.Nash holds a bachelor of science degree from Boston College and an MBA degree from Babson College. In addition he also holds a United States Patent for an "Automated PCB Handling System."
