DATASYST Awarded A2LA Accreditation
January 27, 2004 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Delafield, Wis. — In recognition of significant investments in tools, techniques, and procedures DATASYST has been awarded accreditation by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) in the field of mechanical testing.
The laboratory's quality system, technical staff and calibration protocols were reviewed as part of the accreditation.
Established in 1978 as a non-profit, public service membership society, A2LA is dedicated to the formal recognition of competent testing and calibration laboratories, inspection bodies, proficiency testing providers and reference material producers. Laboratory accreditation is the formal recognition of a test lab's technical competency to perform specific tests or types of tests. The general requirements for accreditation are in ISO/IEC 17025.
Accreditation requirements, however, go beyond ISO/IEC 17025. A2LA also works with accrediting organizations worldwide through its Mutual Recognition Agreement partners, which has gained the accreditation program national and international acceptance.
DATASYST is a third-party testing and design partner to producers of all types of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies. For more information, visit www.datasysttest.com.
