Componex/electronicIndia Takes Place in Delhi

Delhi, India — In its fifth year, componex/electronicIndia is moving to the Indian capital.
The key regional fair for components and assemblies in electronics and electronic production will take place from February 12 to 15, 2004, at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in Delhi, one of the most modern trade fair centres in India. Equipped with a good infrastructure, and easy to reach in the center of the city, the site offers prerequisites for this trade fair for decision makers in the high-tech sector.Organizing componex/electronicIndia is Munich Trade Fairs International (MMI) and the Indian publishers of Electronics Today, based on the successful concept of the key world fairs electronica, Productronica, and LASER. World of Photonics, MMI cooperated in 2000 with Electronics Today to establish the most successful trade fair for the electronics sector on the Indian subcontinent. As an international conference and exhibition for electronic components, materials and production equipment, it immediately acquired a reputation as the key fair in its field and thus the trendsetter for electronics innovations in the Indian market.
In 2003 the trade fair recorded its best figures so far, with 370 exhibiting organizations from 20 nations and 22,500 visitors from India and abroad.Besides the exhibition itself, an international conference is again planned for 2004, with speakers from the government of India, national and international trade associations, and representatives from manufacturing industry, together with an international matchmaking forum where Indian and foreign companies can meet.
