Jabil Circuit Reports Quarterly Results

St. Petersburg, Fla. — Jabil Circuit Inc. has reported results for the first quarter of fiscal 2004, ended November 30, 2003.
Revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2004 increased 41 percent to $1.51 billion compared to $1.07 billion for the same period of fiscal 2003.
On a Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) basis, net income for the first quarter of fiscal 2004 increased to $42.5 million compared to $8.4 million for the same period of fiscal 2003. GAAP diluted earnings per share for the first quarter of fiscal 2004 were 20 cents, compared to 4 cents for the same period of fiscal 2003.
